Posted on Thursday, September 27 2007 by Heather Brandon

Sarah Barr, director of communications for the city of Hartford, announced that an Urban Land Institute national panel will make a presentation tomorrow morning, Friday, September 28, at 9:00 am, at the Wadsworth Atheneum downtown. The panel will provide recommendations for economic development. Mayor Eddie Perez and Oz Griebel of the MetroHarford Alliance will also be on hand.

The panel’s assignment was to focus on Downtown North (PDF) and Downtown West areas of the city. “The Advisory Services Panel of the ULI has spent an intensive week in Hartford,” a press release states. “ULI is a nationally respected nonprofit education and research organization that encourages high standards of land use planning and development.”
